Māori Television (MTS)

A Pōwhiri ceremony is followed by another meal (we begin to get the hang of these welcoming ceremonies: rich in traditional meaning and caloric content).  After the meal there are presentations by members of the MTS executive team: Jim Mather (CEO), Charles Berryman, Sonya Haggie, Barry Russ and Larry Parr. After a brief Q&A session we are given a behind-the-scenes tour of the TV station by Barry Russ.
