In the morning we visit Hoani Waititi Marae Kura, the first Māori Immersion School, founded in 1985. In the afternoon we are invited to tour the Māori Television station. Māori Television is the newest, coolest and also hottest thing in Māoriland. You have truly made it in Māori society when you work for Māori TV!!!
The day ends with a dinner party at the Sky City Hotel to which TWOA staff and various guests are invited.
